Summary

Another model using the LM51561H

Very sketchy. We have not had success running the official SPICE simulation distributed with this product.

It is a very delicate surface mount chip about 5mm×6mm with 14 pins spaced at a 0.65mm pitch, and requiring a heat sink. Another version is 2mm×3mm and has 12 surface mount solder pads with a 0.5mm spacing.

We are not dealing with very high frequencies and we would prefer to avoid chips that are so tiny and delicate.

However, for those who know what they are doing and have the knowledge and experience to make these things work, they might be just fine, assuming they do function as documented.
